Lake Tahoe Mortgage was formed and incorporated in 1994.  In 1996, Harry Gordon and his wife, Karen McClenahan, acquired the company.  The initial focus of Lake Tahoe Mortgage was originating purchase money mortgages. We took the leap into reverse mortgages in 2005 and we now specialize in both the traditional 'forward' mortgage and the reverse mortgage.
